Through our textbooks on history, we came to know about Nawab Siraj-ud-Daulah, the last sovereign Nawab of Bengal, his courageousness, characteristics, conspiracy against him, his defeat in the Battle of Plassey and the initiation of British rule in Bengal. But how many of us know what happened to Siraj’s beloved wife, his loving mother, his adored grandmother after his death.
