Authorities of Shahjalal University of Science and Technology (SUST), Sylhet and Jessore Science and Technology University (JSTU) decided to take admission tests on same question paper from current session.

Due to the adoption of this system, students will be able to admit in any of these two universities by appearing any one admission test.

JSTU Vice Chancellor Professor Dr Abdus Sattar told banglanews, “Government initiated to take a unified admission test for all 35 universities of the country on one date and in same question paper, but it was not implemented.”

For this new system, candidates have to appear in the admission test in any one the two universities. Passed students will get the chance of admission in any of these, he added.

Professor Dr Abdus Sattar also said: “This system will save time and money as well as reduce the chance of seats to remain empty.”
