BCL suspends 19 activists of Dhaka College

Bangladesh Awami League’s student front, Bangladesh Chhatra League, on Sunday suspended 19 members of its Dhaka College unit, following a clash between two factions, says a press release.
The press release was signed by BCL central committee president Saifur Rahman Sohag and general secretary SM Zakir Hossain.
Dhaka College BCL leaders Nur Alam, Hiron Bhuiyan, Sahjahan Bhuiyan Shamim, Saleh Ahmed, Samad Azad Zulfikar, Shahriar Rashed, Hasanuzzaman Munna, Rahmatullah, Rubel Mandal, Saddam Hossain, Mahmudur Rahman Saikat, Abdul Aziz Foyez, Nayeem Ibne Azad, Tuhin, Jashim Uddin, Mainul Islam, Miltan Khandaker, Rana and Sujan were suspended.
At least three persons were injured in a clash between two factions of the BCL on the Dhaka College campus on Saturday.
The two factions filed cases against each other and New Market police station officer-in-charge Atiqur Rahman said two separate cases have been filed against BCL leaders Nur Alam Bhuiyan and Hiron Bhuiyan.
Many policemen have been deployed on the Dhaka College campus.
