06 Aug, 2017
BNP standing committee member Nazrul Islam Khan said that free, fair and participatory election is not possible under the incumbent government.
He said this while addressing a seminar on 'Demand of National Election under Non-Party Supportive Government' at the National Press Club in the city on Sunday (August 06)
Bangladesh Labor Party, a partner of BNP-led 20-party alliance, arranged the program with the party chairman Dr Mostafizur Rahman Iran in the chair.
BNP joint secretary general Syed Moazzem Hossain Alal and Labour Party’s senior vice chairman Eng Mohammad Farid Uddin also spoke on the function, among others.
Nazrul Islam Khan said, “Awami League killed the democracy first in the country. It is the party who had established one–party government in the country. They are misleading the peole through propaganda and false information.”
He came down on the government for the rising trend of killing, rape and crimes all over the country.
