JSD leader and member of parliament Shirin Akter has threatened to blow up the BNP chairperson’s office in Gulshan with explosives. While addressing a rally from a truck in 16th February, Monday at Gulshan Rajuk Park she made this threat.
Earlier, along with Labor-worker-professional-freedom-fighter coordination committee –a recently formed BAL outfit, she went to make a seize to Khaleda’s office. In that seize Cabinet minister Shahzahan Khan gave Khaleda an ultimatum to withdraw the strike within 24 hours. However, when Shirin Akter came into the stage, she said “We can allow Khaleda 48 hours. If she does not withdraw the strikes she will no longer have an office in Gulshan, it will be blown up”.
