Miscreants stabbed three people including two bloggers and a publisher in capital’s Lalmatia area on Saturday.
The injured are - Ahmedur Rashid Tutul, publisher of slain blogger Avijit Roy, blogger Ronovipon Basu, 50 and Tareque Rahim.
Sources said some unknown assailants entered into the office of Shuddhwashawr publication owner Ahmedur Rashid around 2:30pm at Block C in Lalmatia and attacked him with lethal weapon.
Meanwhile, hearing the screaming, blogger Tareque Rahim and Ronovipon Basu rushed to the spot. Then, the attackers also stabbed them and opened fire.
Later, the critically injured were sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital.
Confirming the matter, Mohammadpur Police Station (OC) Jamal Uddin Mir said that police forces were sent to the spot.
