Shakib powers Barbados Tridents to win over Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel

A six-wicket haul by left-arm spinner Shakib Al Hasan powered Barbados Tridents to earn an easy four-wicket win over Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel in their third Twenty20 Cricket match of the Caribbean Premier League at the Kensington Oval in Barbados on Saturday.
Shakib Al Hasan bowled a devastating spell and finished as 4-1-6-6 and was adjudged the Man of the Match.
Shakib Al Hasan played the key role in demolishing Trinidad & Tobago Red Steel innings for 52 off 12.5 overs.
ST Gabriel and JO Holder of Barbados Tridents shone with the cherry bagging a pair of wickets each instead of 18 and 19 runs respectively.
Later, Barbados Tridents overhauled the winning target in 8 overs making 53 for the loss of six wickets.
Shakib Al Hasan failed to make a notable score. He was cleanly bowled out by Fidel Edwards for just one run.
It is noteworthy that Shakib Al Hasan was adjudged the Man of the Match in his second match of the Caribbean Premier League.
