Pakistan defy all odds, cruise to Champions Trophy final after outshining England
14 Jun, 2017
For the first time ever, Pakistan has qualified for the Champions Trophy final, successfully chasing a 212-run target set by England in the all-important semi-final in Cardiff.
Hasan Ali is man-of-the-match for his outstanding performance with the ball, taking three wickets in this crucial game.
The green-shirts made their 212-run target look easy, owing to strong partnerships between Azhar Ali, Fakhar Zaman, Mohammad Hafeez and Babar Azam.
Before the start of the tournament Pakistan ranked at number eight, way below England.
Pakistan will meet either India or Bangladesh in the Champions Trophy final.
