Ganesh Haloi’s solo exhibition begins today

Born in Jamalpur, Bangladesh Ganesh Haloi is one of the renowned contemporary painters of India.
With the initiative taken by Akar Prakar Gallery of India, Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts of Bangladesh is organising a 12-day solo painting exhibition of Ganesh Haloi from today.
The exhibition titled “Rhythm of Reality” will be inaugurated at 6:00pm at the Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts at Dhanmondi in the city today.
Cultural Affairs Minister of Bangladesh, Abul Kalam Azad MP will inaugurate the exhibition as chief guest, while Indian High Commissioner to Bangladesh, Pankaj Saran and eminent artist Rafiqun Nabi will be also present as special guest on the occasion.
A total of 65 artworks of Ganesh Haloi will be displayed in the exhibition.
A press conference was held at Bengal Café in the city's Dhanmondi area yesterday to disclose the matter.
Artist Ganesh Haloi, Director of Bengal Gallery of Fine Arts Subir Chowdhury, Director of Akar Prakar Gallery of Kolkata Rina Lath and Sarwar Jahan Shanto spoke at the press conference.
