Apurbo-Jenny in real story

As a pair, Apurbo and Jenny have performed together in many TV plays. For the first time, they have performed together which story is based on a real story. They have performed in a faction play titled “Upolobdhi,” which story is revolved with the real story of a person named Sudhir and his family members who are living in Dhaka’s Nawabganj area.
Story and script of the play were written by Litu Sakhawat, while it was directed by Sanjay Barua. In this play, Apurbo and Jenny have performed in role of husband-wife.
While talking about his performance in this play Apurbo told this correspondent, “Earlier I had worked with the direction of Sanjay Barua in a TV play. That was a nice work. Monalisa had performed against me in that play. In this play, I got my friend Jenny as co-artiste. We have good chemistry in case of acting. I hope viewers will like this play and its story will touch the minds of them (viewers).”
While sharing her feelings to perform against Apurbo in the play ‘Upolobdhi,’ Jenny said, “I and Apurbo firstly worked together in a play of Shihab Shahin. Later we have worked together in many TV plays. We always get huge response after performing together. I am also hopeful about this play. Viewers will get something different in the story of this play.”
The play ‘Upolobdhi,’ produced under the banner of Triple, will be aired in any satellite channel on the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, said director Sanjay.
It may be mentioned that Sanjay Barua directed Eid special play ‘Jamai Dhora’ got positive response from the viewers.
Although Apurbo was sick during Eid-ul-Fitr festival, he has already started to take part in shooting. He started to take part in shooting on August 17 where he is performing in play of Chayanika Chowdhury. But he is mostly engaged with his acted first movie ‘Gangster.’
On the other hand, Jenny will become busy to take part in shooting of SA Haque Alik directed drama serial ‘Ladies First.
