As a pair, Sakib Khan and Apu Biswas have performed together in more than 100 movies. Among their performed movies highest budget was Tk 2.5 crore. But this time they have performed with highest budget movie ‘My Name is Khan,’ which is set to be released in upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr. Budget of this movie has exceed more than Tk 3.5 crore. This movie, produced under the banner of Anan Pictures, will be released 80 cinema halls across the country from Eid day. Bodiul Alam Khokon has directed the movie, which was produced by Ahmed Chowdhury Shaon.
Besides Apu Biswas and Sakib Khan, Misha Sawdagar, Prabir Mitra, Kabila, Sadeque Bachchu, Afzal Sharif, Nuton, among others, have performed in different roles in the movie ‘My Name is Khan.’
While talking about his performance in this movie Sakib Khan said, “Director Bodiul Alam Khokon is one of my favourite persons. His directed movie ‘Priya Aamar Priya’ is my acted commercially most successful movie till now. His direction was always accepted by the viewers positively. I hope movie ‘My Name is Khan’ will become another successful movie.”
While sharing her feelings in this regard Apu Biswas said, “I and Sakib have performed our level best in this movie. I hope viewers will enjoy the movie.”
It may be mentioned that earlier Sakib Khan acted movie “Ek Takar Bou,” directed by PA Kajol, was released in 80 cinema halls at a time in Eid festival. Shabnur and Rumana acted against him in this movie.
