Rakhi off to Australia for higher study

As a Lux superstar and TV actress, Rakhi has established her position in media within very short time. Although having her engagement to perform in TV play and television commercial, Rakhi was always serious about her study. For this reason, she took part in acting after managing her time in study.
From her childhood Rakhi had plan to complete higher study. Specially her father Motiul Islam wanted to see his all children are to be educated.
Rakhi lost her father in March last year. To fulfil her father’s dream, Rakhi stepped forward in this regard. She left Dhaka for Australia on Wednesday night. She will complete her graduation on Bachelor of Technology Electronic and Computer System at Edith Cowan University in Perth.
Before leaving Dhaka Rakhi told this correspondent, “To fulfil my family's plan, I am going to Australia to complete my graduation after leaving my engagement in media. Please everybody pray for me as I will be able to complete my study there.”
“If I would get enough time or leave besides my study then I will take part in shooting for TV play or television commercial,” she said.
It may be mentioned that along with Rakhi her mother Shahnaz Islam also went to Australia on tourist visa.
Rakhi also mentioned that her elder bother and sister are living in Australia.
On the occasion of upcoming Eid-ul-Fitr, Rakhi has finished shooting for some TV plays. These are: Zahid Hasan directed “Emotional Abdul Matin,” Shams Karim’s “Mir Jafar Mir,” Mahfuz Ahmed’s “Andhar-er Obosan,” Said Zamim’s “Ekta Gopon Kotha Chhilo Bolbar” and Chayanika Chowdhury’s “Tumi Aamar.” Therefore she has also taken part in shooting for Tawquir Ahmed directed a play.
