There is a very well known argument or phenomenon in the field of literature. Should it speak out about what is going on? Or it should follow the ultimate supremacy of our mind.

Jibanananda was deep inside his mind, while nazrul was aroused by the outer world. Both are prominent in the history of Bengali poetry.

we may take one side as we like. But for a total fulfilment one can do with both style. In his novel like 'malloban', Jibanananda was a bit harsh. He portrayed the days and nights of an unhappy couple who even can not get together as husband and wife in normal circumstances. One may say these resembles his married life with Labonno dash gupta.

Nazrul also had to give up his fighting spirit some times. In his songs we find a totally different Nazrul.

True artist can not escape the reality fully. And to me it is the primary duty of any poet to express his/her heart. Finally any standard reader should always consider the association of the poets to get a better understanding and a better view.
