The Quran and Bible on Treatment to Poor and Orphan

There are two verses in the Quran concerning treatment to the poor and orphan – which if ignored makes the believer a denier of religion, and rarely the believers have given due attention to these verses :
107:1 Hast thou observed him who belieth religion?
107:2 That is the one who treats the orphan with harshness,
107:3 And does not urge others to feed the poor.
The point to be noted – while it is a religious duty for the believers to give Zakat and/or charity; the believers are ordained to encourage others to charity, which if denied, turns the believer into denier of religion..
We are here on earth to face the test of life; and the poor and orphans are playing an important role to test us. Hence they deserve honour and respect - not negligence; as God says in the Quran:
“Nay, nay, you do not honor the orphan (89:17)”.
Honoring orphans is perhaps the last thing we consider while treating the orphans.
The similar is said in the Bible as well:
“Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal” (1 Corinthians 13:1-KJV)
”And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith so that I could remove mountains, but have not charity, I am nothing.”( 1 Corinthians 13:2 (KJV))
