নরেন্দ্রমোদী এখন সমগ্র ভারতের বাস্তবতা

"মুসলিম শিশুদের শিক্ষাব্যবস্থা আরো উন্নত এবং আধুনিক করা উচিত । তাদের এক হাতে কোরআন শরীফ এবং অন্য হাতে কম্পিউটার থাকা উচিত ।"

অবাক হবেন না । উপরোক্ত উদ্ধৃতিটি ভারতের প্রধানমন্ত্রী পদপ্রার্থী নরেন্দ্র দামোদর-দাস মোদীর । শৈশবে চা বিক্রেতা পিতাকে সাহায্য করে হয়েছিলেন চা স্টল এর দোকানী । তারপর তারুণ্যের দিনগুলো বিবাহ বন্ধন ছিন্ন করে হিমালয়ে কাটিয়ে শেষে দিল্লী বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে রাষ্ট্রবিজ্ঞানে গ্রাজুয়েশন করেন নরেন্দ্র মোদী । এসময় ক্যাডারভিত্তিক হিন্দু জাতিয়তাবাদী সংগঠন আরএসএস এর সদস্য হন তিনি । তারপর ধীরে ধীরে রাজনৈতিক সফলতার মাধ্যমে এই পর্যায়ে উঠে এলেন । ২০০২ সালে গুজরাট দাঙ্গায় বেশ আলোচনায় উঠে আসেন নরেন্দ্র মোদী । তাকে এখনো আমেরিকা ভিসা দেয়না এই একটি কারণে । রাজনৈতিক কূটচালে মোদীর জুড়ি নেই । মোদীর আরো কিছু বক্তব্য দেখুন এবং বোঝার চেষ্টা করুন কেন ভারতের মতো একটি প্রগতিবাদী এবং বৃহৎ গণতান্ত্রিক রাষ্ট্রে তার গ্রহণযোগ্যতা এতো বেশি হয় !

মোদীবচন সংকলনঃ

= They feel it's an insult to fight against a tea vendor... How can they take on someone from a backward caste whose mother used to wash dishes?

= I appeal to the people, you have given 60 years to rulers, now give 60 months to this 'sevak' (servant).

= Farmers are committing suicide, youths are unemployed, women are unsafe...a great democracy like India is leaderless.

= The Gujarat and Assam, we have a similar situation. Assam's neighbour is Bangladesh. My neighbour is Pakistan. But how the government makes the difference? Because of the government in Assam, Assamese are in difficulties because of the interloper Bangladeshis. Because of me the whole Pakistan is in trouble. You must have this courage.

= I do not know the meaning of the secularism. Yet I do not understand. Perhaps, Hate-Hindu means secularism

= I am constantly trying to find solutions to the problems of the nation. However, our opponents are engrossed in finding a solution to Modi. This mentality can never benefit the nation.

Now things make sense for a Shining India ! Don't they ?
