Government health call centre: Shastobatayon

The government launched health call centre to give health services to people across the country over telephone. The service has been initiated by the Directorate General of Health Services with the funding from UKAID. Now people would be able to get health advice and other services by calling 16263 anytime and from anywhere. The call centre will even help the patients across the country to call public and private ambulances. This centre will also receive complaints against public and private hospitals and clinics. This service could also be availed through website-16263.dghs.gov.bd. People can also get information from that website. To bring the health service to the people's door, the government established 13,300 community clinics. Now people can even get ambulance service by calling on this help line.
