Govt ensuring pure drinking water for citizens

The combination of safe drinking water and hygienic sanitation facilities is a precondition for success in the fight against poverty and hunger. Drinking water is water used for domestic purposes, drinking, cooking and personal hygiene. Safe drinking water is water that meet WHO guidelines or national standards on drinking water quality. The present government led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has been ensuring pure drinking water and hygienic sanitation facilities for every citizen to reduce waterborne diseases in building a healthier nation. They are now distributing tube-wells free of costs to many distressed char people and ensure access to pure drinking water of the people who are living in remote char area. For their faster socioeconomic uplift and working unitedly in building, country will be a middle income nation soon.
