My baby boy

I have present from Allah, alhamdulilah Allah sent me a baby boy. With him i feel like the luckiest in the world. My world is all about him now. Mahdi born on 7th July 2013, at 10 am in jakarta, he weigh 2,2 kg and 54 cm long. He was born on my 34 weeks pregnancy, which means 8 months of pregnancy some people said it is premature some prefer to call it early born. Either he was not supposed to born yet, I had my water broke on Thursday morning, i was so scared then we rushed into hospital.

Doctor came with conclusion that i need to deliver the baby somehow, but bed rest for 3 days is needed so i can take medication for strengthen his lung. I stayed in hospital for 3 days, not allowed to get up from the bed, not allowed to move so much, having nurses and husband to clean was not really the best thing you want to do. On Saturday night doctor do his routine check up, lung medications is done and now need to deliver the baby but i don't get any contraction and the opening is very slow. I insist to deliver normal so i agree when doctor give me induction pills (bad decision i have ever made in my life), the rest of the night i suffer from killing painful.

The artificial stimulant to make contraction gave unbearable pain (i know contraction for deliver is painful but unnatural way of making the contraction is totally crazy). During that process all nurses and midwives saying that induction contraction is like 10 times worse than natural delivery contraction (Ack!). 10 hours and 2 cm only, i almost gave up i dont have any more energy i need to wait another 8 cm and i dont even have energy so how can i push?. Elite insist to do caesarian but i keep insist to do normal, my mother said just do what i need to do. I gave up, finally i decided to do caesarian i wasn't sure i can push even if i have completed the opening.

So, there he is Syed Mahdi Husain was born. In my half conscious the nurse take the baby close to me, say “congrats Maam its a boy, please give him a kiss”. I was smiling not fully aware i saw him there so tiny so warm. I met my baby for the first time. It was love at first sight just like what everyone said. Elite was waiting outside the operation room, and he adzan him and took his picture.
